PITTSBURGH, PA, Jan. 12, 2018 /PR.com/ — With combined experience in health, elder and senior care of over fifty years, the Barberry Ridge Home Health team formed at the end of 2017 with an office in Ross Township to bring options and care to residents, seniors and the elderly facing the challenge of remaining at home.

“While our agency is positioned to help adults of all ages remain at home through stages of life, we find our services are needed particularly by those with Alzheimer’s and dementia related conditions.  Whether providing support for those transitioning home from a facility or clients unable to perform activities of daily living, we collaborate with the patient, providers and families to establish a support system that allows them to live well in the home and age in place.” said Felicia Rankin, RN, Director of Nursing and Care Delivery at Barberry Ridge Home Health.

On January 11, 2018 staff and caregivers of the agency celebrated a grand opening with and open house for clients and caregivers to connect and learn about areas of specialty at Barberry Ridge Home Health.  This marked the official opening in the Pittsburgh North Hills serving new clients in Ross Township and surrounding communities.

“We feel a strong connection and right at home in Barberry Ridge’s newly opened office at 800 Perry Highway right between the communities of West View and Perrysville.   Because our service area spans a large portion of central and northern Allegheny County, we love being tied into a smaller community and look forward to developing relationships with both residents, local businesses and other care providers.”
